Elizabeth Betts
Elizabeth is a psychodynamic therapist, working with individuals and couples, a clinical supervisor and lecturer in multiple counselling training programs.
Working psychodynamic way with clients included working with unconscious processes as well as dream analyisis as a tool to interpret unconscious drives, desires and communications. I work with clients on understanding how our early Experience inform the way we think, behave and communicate and attach to others in adult life.
Elizabeth is enthusiastic about supervisors working with both trainees and qualified therapist providing the space for exploration and growth.
Elizabeth is a passionate about teaching trainee therapists and helping them develop their individuality, via encouraging students intellectual, emotional and personal growth through a mix of lectures, teaching counselling skills and facilitating group process work.
Elizabeth is also a qualified grief specialist for the last 15 years and have run workshops, short term therapy with individuals and groups.
Elizabeth over the years has developed and hosted many workshops designed to develop client work and continues personal growth. Elizabeth continues to grow and develop her own personal and intellectual knowledge and applies these to the workshops being developed.
